PERSONNEL COMMITTEE <br />CITY OF RAMSEY <br />ANOKA COUNTY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br />The Personnel Committee conducted a regular meeting on Tuesday, April 22, 2008, at the <br />Ramsey Municipal Center, 7550 Sunwood Drive NW, Ramsey, Minnesota. <br />Members Present: <br />Chairperson David Jeffrey <br />Councilmember John Dehen <br />Mayor Thomas Gamec (alternate) <br />Member Absent: Councilmember Mary Jo Olson <br />Also Present: Human Resources Manager Givonna Reed Kone <br />Assistant City Administrator Heidi A. Nelson <br />Fire Chief Dean Kapler <br />Finance Officer Diana Lund <br />CALL TO ORDER <br />Chairperson Jeffrey called the regular meeting of the Personnel Committee to order at 5:30 p.m. <br />CITIZEN INPUT <br />There was none. <br />APPROVE AGENDA <br />Motion by Mayor Gamec, seconded by Chairperson Jeffrey, to approve the agenda as submitted. <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Chairperson Jeffrey, Councilmembers Dehen and Mayor Gamec. <br />Voting No: None. <br />COMMITTEE BUSINESS <br />Case #1: Consider Resolution Appointing Board and Commission Members <br />Human Resources Manager Reed Kone reported that interviews for the EDA and Planning <br />Commission vacancies were held last week and nine individuals were interviewed. The <br />interview panel, consisting of two members of the Personnel Committee and representatives of <br />the Planning Commission and EDA, recommended that Wayne Skaff be appointed to a term on <br />the EDA to expire in 2011 and that Bryan Rogers be appointed to a term on the Planning <br />Commission to a term expiring in 2010. <br />Personnel Committee / April 22, 2008 <br />Page 1 of 4 <br />
