I[SKNOWN AS THE WATER AND UTILITIES SECTION OF THE CITY CODE.~ AN ORDII~AI~CE AMENDING SECTION 4.40 OF THE CITY CODE OF RAMSEY, ~MIINNESOTA. The City of t~. m~y ordains: SECTION 1i ~MENI)MENT Section 4.40 ~f the City Code, entitled "Municipal Water and Sewer Utilities" is amended to read as follows: 4.40 wATeR AND SEWER UTILITIES 4.40'01 Authority Thlsis~ctl~n is adopted pursuant to Chapter 11, Section 11.01 of the Ramsey City Charter and is~nte~ded to satisfy the requirements of said Section 11.01. 4.40~2 GENERAL Any n uni,~ipal water system and/or sanitary sewer system which is constructed in the City of Ral ~se~, pursuant to the City of Ramsey Code regulations shall be operated as public utiliti~ s a~d all revenues and operating expenditures of said utilities shall be properly accoUl ited!for in a separate municipal fund which shall be a combined water and sewer utility' Fund. The Council shall have authority to establish fees for connection to and use of the mu nici~al water and sanitary sewer systems from time to time by resolution. 4.41,{Ir3 DEFINITIONS Unles~ the!context clearly indicates otherwise, the words, terms and phrases, used, herein shall ih~ve lhe meanings set forth in the paragraphs of this section which follow: i"B~Uilding Sewer" shall mean that portion of the sewerage system located i between the property line and the structure served. I" CBstomer" shall mean any individual, firm or company who shall receive City i water and/or sanitary sewer service. l"Industrial Wastes" shall mean the liquid wastes from industrial processes as ,,dtsfinct from sanitary sewage. i"Municipal Water System" system of the City of Ramsey.
