ORDINANCE NO. 84-7 <br /> <br /> CITY OF RAMSEY <br /> ANOKA COUNTY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> <br />AMENDMENT To Chapter 210.01 which is known as the "Street <br />Assessment" Chapter of the City Code of Ramsey, Minnesota. <br /> <br />An Ordinance amending Chapter 210.01 of the City Code of Ramsey, <br />Minnesota. <br /> <br />The City Council of the City of Ramsey hereby ordains: <br /> <br />Section 1. Amendment <br /> <br />Chapter 210.01 Street Assessment is hereby amended by the <br />addition of the following: <br /> <br />210.02 <br /> <br /> WATER AND S~WER UTILITIES <br /> Preface: This ordinance is adopted pursuant to <br />Chapter 11, Section 11.01 of the Ramsey City Charter and is <br />intended to satisfy the requirements of said Section 11.01. <br /> <br /> 210.020 General. Any municipal water system <br />and/or sanitary sewer system which is constructed in the City of <br />Ramsey pursuant to the City of Ramsey Code regulations shall be <br />operated as public utilities and all revenues and operating <br />expenditures of said utilities shall be properly accounted for in <br />a separate municipal fund which shall be a combined water and <br />sewer utility fund. The Council shall have authority to <br />establish fees for connection to and use of the municipal water <br />and sanitary sewer systems from time to time by ordinance. <br /> <br /> 210.021 Definitions. Unless th'e context clearly <br />indicates otherwise, the words, terms and phrases, as used in <br />Section 210.20 et seq. shall have the meanings set forth in the <br />paragraphs of this section which follow: <br /> <br />1. "Municipal Water System" or "City Water" shall mean the <br />municipal water system of the City of Ramsey. <br /> <br />2. "Sewage" shall mean a combination of the water-carried <br />wastes from residence, business buildings, institutions and <br />industrial establishments. <br /> <br />3. "Sewer" shall mean a pipe or conduit for carrying <br />sewage. <br /> <br /> <br />
