ORDINANCE #81-6 <br /> <br /> CITY OF RAMSEY <br /> ANOKA COUNTY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> <br />AMENDMENT TO CHAPTER 1~0.05, WHICH IS KNOWN AS THE INTOXICATING LIQUOR <br />CHAPTER OF THE CITY CODE OF RAMSEY, MINNESOTA. <br /> <br />AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 130.057 ENTITLED "LICENSE FEES, PARAGRAPH <br />6 OF THE CITY CODE OF RAMSEY, MINNESOTA. <br /> <br />The City Council of the City of Ramsey, Minnesota ordains: <br /> <br />SECTION 1. AMENDMENT <br /> <br />Section 170.057 paragraph 6 is amended to read as follows: <br /> <br />6. No part of the fee paid for any license issued under this <br />chapter shall be refunded except in the following instances <br />upon application to the council within thirty (30) days from <br />the happening of the event. The council may in its judgment <br />refund a pro rata portion of the fee for the unexpired period <br />of the license, computed on a monthly basis, when operation of <br />the licensed business ceases not less than one (1) month be- <br />fore expiration of the license because of: <br /> <br />a) Destruction or damage of the licensed premises by fire <br />or other catastrophe; <br />b) A change in the legal status of the municipality making <br />it unlawful for a licensed business to continue; <br />c) The death of the licensee, managing partner, or man- <br />aging officer of the licensee; <br />d) The transfer of ownership of the licensed premises and <br />then only when the new owner on transfer receives a license <br />under this chapter and has paid the appropriate pro rata <br />license fee such that the City will receive a full license <br />fee for that particular license year. <br /> <br />SECTION 2. EFFECTIVE DATE <br /> <br />This ordinance becomes effective upon its passage and publication according <br />to ].aw. <br /> <br />PASSED by the City Council this the 8th day of September, 1981. <br /> <br />Mayor <br /> <br /> <br />
