ORDINANCE NO. 79-7 <br /> <br />AKENDMENT TO CHAPTER 170.03 OF THE CITY CODE OF RAMSEY, MINNESOTA <br /> <br />AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 170.03 ENTITLED "SUBDIVISION" <br /> <br />The City Council of the City of Ramsey does hereby ordain: <br /> <br />Section 1. Amendments <br /> <br />Section 170.038H paragraph 2 of the City Code of Ramsey, Miranesota <br />is hereby amended to read as follows: <br /> <br />2. Prior to final plat approval, and in addition to the platting <br />requirements of the City Code the subdivider shall file a final <br />grading plan of the plat to be developed which shall contain the <br />following information: <br /> <br />a. Ail legal setback requirements from existing and <br /> proposed buildings, property lines, sewage tanks, <br /> soil treatment areas, water supply wells, buried <br /> water pipes and utility lines, lakes, rivers, <br /> streams, large trees, and the location of all such <br /> improvements on adjoining lots within one humdred <br /> fifty (150) feet of the site~ <br /> b. Slope; <br />c. The existence of lowlands and local surface depres- <br /> sions; <br /> d. Depth of the seasonal high gromnd water table; <br /> e. Soil conditions, properties and permeability; <br /> f. Surface water flooding probability. <br /> <br />3. The evaluation shall begin with evaluation of the data con- <br />tained on the final grading plan described in paragraph 2 above, <br />along with an evaluation of the following: Preliminary plat, if <br />applicable, flood plain and soil survey maps, soil interpretation <br />sheets, experience, and any other relevant information. If this <br />evaluation in the opinion of the City Engineer, yields enough in- <br />formation and the site is suitable, approval may be given for the <br />installation of the standard system of Section 150.014F. If the <br />preliminary evaluation does not produce sufficient information, a <br />field evaluation shall be required, including but not limited to <br />slope and setback measurement, soil borings, and percolation tests. <br /> <br />4. If at any time during the course of the preliminary or field <br />evaluation, limiting characteristics for a standard system are dis- <br />covered, the City Engineer shall determine if an alternative site <br />for a standard system is available on the affected parcel of real <br />property; and if such a site is available, then the City Engineer <br />shall require an evaluation of the alternative site. <br /> <br /> <br />
