ORDINANCE NO. 76-2 CITY OF ~AMSEY ANOKA COL~TY, MINNESOTA AN ORDINANCE A)~NDING CITY OF PAMSEY ZONING ORDINANCE NO. 73-5'AND REPEALING ORDINANCE NO. 75-9. SECTION 1. SHORT TITLE This Ordinance shall be known as the City of Ramsey Interim Zon. in~ Ordinance. SECTION 2. PURPOSES (a) The City Council has determined that the City's present Comorehensive Plan and imolementating Zoning Ordinance as it affects the Southeast ¢~uadrant of" the City is inadequate to provide for orderly development, protect public and private property and to promote the health, s~fetv, order and convenience and the general welfare of the citizens of the community. (b) In order to eliminate the inadeeuacies as outlined in paragraph (a) above, the City has authorized an Urban Planning District Study which study has been foz~zarded to the City Council by the Ramsev Planning and Zoning Commission in a resolution adooted ?.arc~ 29, 1976. (c) That the City Council finds that if it is to formally adopt the Urban Planning District Study and implementing Zoning ordinance, Metrooolitan Council review along with required public hearings will be necessary. (d) Finally, the City Council finds that in order to protect the planning process as described above, this interim ordinance is necessary, and it is adopted pursuant to authority granted in M.S. Chapter 473. The maximo~ duration of this Ordinance shall be one year from and after its effective date. SECTION 3. CONDITIONAL USE ZONE CLASSIFICATION. Ail present zoning use districts within the area 'bounded as follows are hereby repealed: The Rum River on the East; the North line of Sections Twenty-four (24), Twenty-three (23); the West line of Section Twenty-three (23); the North iine of Section 26 West of Sunfish Lake Boulevard; .Sunfish Lake Boulevard within Section 26; Industry Avenue~and the Ramsey-Anoka boundary line.
