The City Transportation Consultant, Len Levine, was on hand to review
the official mapping process with the City Council. At that time the Council agreed to continue
the discussion prior to consideration of a moratorium along T.H. #10 in anticipation of a T.H.
#10 Corridor Improvement Project. The City Council authorized an agreement with The
Tinklenberg Group on January 28, 2003, to further address Highway #10 moratorium issues.
The Tinklenberg Group has been meeting with some of the property owners along Highway #10
to try and address their concerns. They have indicated that many of the property owners were
skeptical initially, but after an explanation of the process, the meetings did turn more positive. It
has also been determined that some of the property owners are interested in selling their property.

City Council Work Session/March 18, 2003
