PUBLIC WORKS COMMITTEE <br />CITY OF RAMSEY <br /> ANOKA COUNTY <br /> STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> <br />The Ramsey Public Works Committee conducted a regular meeting on Tuesday, August 17, <br />1999, at the Ramsey Municipal Center, 15153 Nowthen Boulevard NW, Ramsey, Minnesota. <br /> <br />Members Present: <br /> <br />Chairperson Gerald Zimmerman <br />Councilmember Terry Hendriksen <br />Councilmember Margaret Connolly (arrived at 5:15 p.m.) <br /> <br />Also Present: <br /> <br />City Engineer Steve Jankowski <br />Director of Public Works/Fire Chief Dean Kapler <br />City Administrator James Norman <br />Public Works Supervisor Grant Riemer <br /> <br />CALL TO ORDER <br /> <br />Chairperson Zimmerman called the regular meeting of the Public Works Committee to order at <br />5:05 p.m. <br /> <br />CITIZEN INPUT <br /> <br />There was none. <br /> <br />COMMITTEE BUSINESS <br /> <br />Case #1: Request from Dorothy Stickney to Speak on Behalf of Sunfish Pond <br /> Townhome Association <br /> <br />City Engineer Jankowski stated that the City received a letter from Dorothy Stickney requesting <br />to address the Committee on the issue of street maintenance within the Sunfish Pond townhouse <br />development. Mrs. Stickney has been informed that the street system within the townhouse <br />development is private and was identified as such in both the plat documents and the <br />development agreement with G.M. Homes. <br /> <br />Dorothy Stickney, 14211 Xenon Street NW, Unit 11, Ramsey, stated that she was not told that <br />the streets in the townhome development belonged to the residents when she moved in. She <br />explained that there is a lot of people driving through on Xenon Street that do not live in the <br />townhomes and for that reason they feel the City should maintain at least Xenon Street. <br /> <br />Public Works Committee/August 17, 1999 <br /> Page 1 of 8 <br /> <br /> <br />
