Mr. Jankowski explained that the
current plans does not include any cross-walks, but noted that the Public Works department
could place crosswalks at Germanium and Erkium Street after the project is completed or they
could be included on the plans. The proposed trail is currently an eight foot bituminous trail on
the north side of Sunwood Drive. He explained that it would be possible to place the trail on the
south side of Sunwood Drive or on both sides of Sunwood Drive. Mr. Jankowski noted that on
the existing plans it only account for landscaping on the north side of Sunwood Drive and not the
south side since they were not proposing the trail for the south side.

Rob Kalstabakken, 5571 Sunwood Drive Northwest Ramsey, stated that there is very minimal
landscaping on the south side of Sunwood Drive.

Public Works Committee/August 31, 1999
