CITY COUNCIL <br />CITY OF RAMSEY <br />ANOKA COUNTY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> <br />The Ramsey City Council conducted a regular work session on Monday, June 21, 1999, at the <br />Ramsey Municipal Center, 15153 Nowthen Boulevard NW, Ramsey, Minnesota. <br /> <br />Members Present: <br /> <br />Mayor Thomas Gamec <br />Councilmember Susan Anderson <br />Councilmember Terry Hendriksen <br />Councilmember Gerald Zimmerman (arrived at 6:49) <br /> <br />Members Absent: None <br /> <br />Also Present: <br /> <br />City Administrator James E. Norman <br />City Attorney Bill Goodrich <br />Administrative Services Manager Joyce Hottinger <br />Finance Officer Diana Lund <br />Community Development Director Cindy Sherman <br />Director of Public Works Dean Kapler <br />City Engineer Steve Jankowski <br />Parks/Utilities Supervisor Mark Boos <br />Jon Peterson, Bolton & Menk <br />Metropolitan Council District 9 Representative Natalie Haas Steffen <br />Denny Griswold, Pulte Homes <br />Gary Grant, Pulte Homes <br /> <br />CALL TO ORDER <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec called the regular work session to order at 5:41 p.m. <br /> <br />COUNCIL TOPICS <br /> <br />1) Water Master Plan <br /> <br />Jon Peterson of Bolton & Menk presented a brief summary of the Water System Study which <br />they were hired to perform in order to incorporate any comments into the final document. He <br />suggested activating the thought process to consider additional personnel for water system <br />operations, and the recommendations for implementation was to begin design for a new water <br />tower construction, begin design/construction of Well No. 5, and conduct a water rate analysis in <br />conjunction with financing evaluation for new water treatment facility (estimated at a cost of <br />$10,000,000). <br /> <br />City Council Work Session/June 21, 1999 <br /> Page 1 of 3 <br /> <br /> <br />
