ENVIRONMENTAL POLICY BOARD <br />CITY OF RAMSEY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br />On Monday, November 6, 2006, the Environmental Policy Board (EPB) met at Fire <br />Station #1, 15050 Armstrong Boulevard, Conference Room, Ramsey, Minnesota. <br />Members Present: <br />Acting Chairperson Michael Max <br />Board Member Bob Bentz <br />Board Member John Freeburg <br />Board Member Jon Olds <br />Board Member Bob Sibilski <br />Members Absent: Chairperson Joe McDilda, Board Member Ron Hustvedt, Jr. <br />Also Present: Environmental Specialist Bruce Bacon <br />Council Member Sara Strommen <br />CALL TO ORDER <br />Acting Chairperson Max called the meeting to order at 6:35 p.m. <br />CITIZEN INPUT <br />None. <br />APPROVAL OF AGENDA <br />Acting Chairperson Max requested that a report from State Foresters be added to the <br />agenda as the first item of discussion. <br />Motion by Board Member Olds and seconded by Board Member Freeburg to approve the <br />agenda as submitted with the addition of the review of the report from State Foresters. <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Acting Chairperson Max, Board Members Bentz, Freeburg, <br />Olds, and Sibilski. Voting No: None. Absent: Chairperson McDilda and Board Member <br />Hustvedt, Jr. <br />Acting Chairperson Max asked what to do to compensate when specs are not available <br />for excess inventory. He suggested utilizing a nearby park or any public space. He stated <br />Mankato puts money into their maintenance budget so it is available for pruning and <br />maintaining public trees. He stated the subject of a maintenance budget has never been <br />brought to the table for discussion. <br />Environmental Specialist Bacon stated there is not a written policy that is inventory <br />driven. <br />
