The City seeks community
members to serve on the Economic Development Authority
(EDA), Park & Recreation Commission, Planning
Commission and especially the Environmental Policy Board
(EPB), which has two openings. The premise of a board
or commission is to make recommendations to the City
Council on current issues.
Joining the EPB is an opportunity to contribute to
environmental awareness and conservation practices and
a chance for personal growth and learning. As a member,
you'll advise the City Council on policy issues, review new
development proposals and engage in communication and
education. The board meets on the third Monday of each
month at 6:30 pm.
Applications are being accepted for all boards or
commissions and information can be found at
www.cityoframsey.com/149. Advisory seats are open until
filled; however, the first review of applications is scheduled
for May 31, 2024, followed by interviews. If you would like
additional information, please call Human Resources at
763-433-9866.
CITY OF RAMSEY Weekly UPDATE I May 31, 2024 1
