Councilmember Haas Steffen introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION//99-01-019 <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION ADOPTING FINDING OF FACT//0483 RELATING TO A REQUEST <br />FROM FRANCIS AND TERESA MOULZOLF FOR A CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT <br />TO EXCEED THE TOTAL ACCESSORY STRUCTURE SPACE AND THE MAXIMUM <br />SINGLE ACCESSORY STRUCTURE SIZE ALLOWED ON PARCELS 1 TO 2 ACRES <br />IN SIZE <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City of Ramsey received an application fi.om Francis and Teresa <br />Moulzolf for a conditional use permit to exceed the total accessory structure space and the <br />maximum single accessory structure size allowed on the property generally known as 14260 <br />Junkite Street NW and legally described as follows: <br /> <br />Lot 1, Block 1, RAMSEY TERRACE, Anoka County, Minnesota <br /> <br />(the "Subject Property") <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THIS CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA that the findings of fact relating <br />to the request are determined to be as follows: <br /> <br />That on November 20, 1998, Francis and Teresa Moulzolf, hereinafter referred to as <br />"Applicants", properly applied for a conditional use permit to exceed the total allowable <br />accessory structure space and the maximum single accessory structure size allowed on <br />parcels one to two acres in size. <br /> <br />That the applicant appeared before the Ramsey Planning Commission for a public hearing <br />pursuant to Section 9.03.04 of the City Code on January 5, 1999, and that said public hearing <br />was properly advertised and that the minutes of said public hearing are hereby incorporated <br />as a part of these findings by reference. <br /> <br />3. That the Subject Property and surrounding parcels are zoned R-1 Rural Residential; the <br /> adjacent property to the north is wetland. <br /> <br />4. That the Subject Property is approximately 1.4 acres in size. <br /> <br />That Section 9.11.02 of the Ramsey City Code states that on parcels between 1 and 2 acres in <br />size, the total of attached and detached garages or accessory buildings shall not exceed 1,664 <br />square feet. <br /> <br />That the Applicants currently have a 600 square foot attached garage and a 450 square foot <br />detached garage, and they are proposing to replace the 450 square foot detached garage with <br />a 1,152 square foot garage, for a total of 1,752 square feet of garage space, which is an 88 <br />square foot overage in total allowable garage space on the Subject Property. <br /> <br /> <br />
