Mike is a student <br />at Ramsey Elementary Grade School and he participated in a Bicentennial program <br />at the school as George Washington and was invited by Mayor Cox to sit with the <br />City Council as honorary Mayor. <br /> <br />Pledge of Allegiance to the flag was lerl by Mayor Cox. <br /> <br />Approval of Agenda. Motion by Councilman Reiman'n, seconded by Councilman <br />Mickelson to approve the agenda with the additions. <br />Carried 5 to 0 <br /> <br />Citizen Input. Question on a neighbor's septic system was raised. Discussion <br />held with no action taken. <br /> <br />A roval of minutes of the Re ular A ril 26, 1~76, meetin . Motion by Councilwoman <br />o iphant, seconded by Councilman Gorham to approve the minutes of the April 27, <br />1976, Council meeting with the following corrections, inclusion of Councilman <br />Gorham's remarks and question to Council person Oliphant asking her that if <br />any future attorney's fees would come up for future Council members if she <br />would be against payment for their attorney's fees and she said no. Another <br />correction under Bills for Approval, the 70% was Oliphant associated. Additional <br />corrections, that the auditor should audit the books this year so that they <br />will be easy to audit next year and the City will be helped by the firm by <br />suggestions, etc. <br /> <br />Carri ed 5 to 0 <br /> <br />A roval of the minutes of the Public Hearin , A ril 27, 1976. Motion by <br />Counci man Reimann, seconded by Councilman Gorham tb approve the minutes of <br />the public hearing on April 17, 1976. <br />Carried 5 to 0 <br /> <br />Approval of the minutes of the Special meeting, April 27, 1976. Motion by <br />Councilman GorHam, seconded by Councilman Mickelson to approve the minutes <br />of the special meeting of April 27th with the following corrections: Attorney <br />Goodrich also stated that he had contacted Mr. Bernie Steffens, who had informed <br />Mr. Goodrich that he (Mr. Steffens) had contacted staff and a lawyer from Metro <br />Council and they had informed Mr. Steffens that the adoption of the interium <br />ordinance was in accord with their policies. Motion carried. <br />5 to 0 <br /> <br />Letters & Communications. <br />Letter on County Shoreland Ordinance public hearing was read and noted. <br />Clerk...Treasurer Walker to review this with the County. No other action. <br /> <br />Letter from County Attorney Robert Johnson with a request to meet with <br />the Council on certain issues. Mayor Cox to set up a meeting in July. <br /> <br />Letter on a training workshop on personnel was discussed. Clerk-Treasurer <br />Walker to work with the Personnel Committee on this. No action at this time. <br /> <br />.... <br />Urban Planni~gDistrict Report. Motion by Counci1ma~ Reimann, seconded by <br />Councilwomgn/Oliphant to have the Urban Planning District Report transmitted <br />to the Metro Council for their review and comments. <br />Carried 5 to 0 <br />
