<br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT COMMISSION <br />CITY OF RAMSEY <br />ANOKA COUNTY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> <br />A regular meeting of the Economic Development Commission was held on Wednesday, <br />February 8, 1984 at the Ramsey Municipal Center, 15153 Nowthen Blvd. N.W., <br />Ramsey, Minnesota. <br /> <br />Members Present: Mr. DonG:teenberg, Chairman <br />Mr. Bill Miller <br />Mr. Steve Schmidt <br />Ms. Astrid Guy <br />Mr. Bernie Vevea <br />Mr. Darryl Fults <br /> <br />Members Absent: <br /> <br />Also Present: <br /> <br />CALL TO ORDER <br /> <br />Mr. Arnie Cox <br />Mr. Jack Schneider <br />Mr. Bob Muller <br /> <br />City Administrator Lloyd Schnelle <br />Mayor Tom Gamec <br /> <br />ChaimannGreenberg called the meeting to order at 7:38 a.m. <br /> <br />Chairman Greenberg noted that there are four applicants present to fill the <br />vacancy on the Economic Commission -- Mr. Glen Hardin, Mr. Paul Johnson, <br />Mr. Dale Ketchum and Mr. Ken Wagner. <br /> <br />CITIZEN INPUT <br /> <br />None. <br /> <br />APPROVAL OF AGENDA <br /> <br />Chairman Greenberg requested that prior ,toi..any Commission business, an interview <br />of the four applicants applying for the position on EDC, be conducted. <br /> <br />Motion by Commissioner Miller and seconded by Commissioner Guy to approve the <br />agenda as submitted and that applicant interviews be conducted as'uhe.first <br />orderuof business. <br /> <br />INTERVIEW OF APPLICANTS FOR VACANCY ON THE ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT COMMISSION <br /> <br />Mr. Glen Hardin - Stated that he resides in Golden Eagle Estates, has been a <br />Ramsey resident for three years and is employed at the First National Bank in <br />Anoka in the consumer loan department. Prior to moving to Ramsey, he lived in <br />Hibbing and worked for a consumer finance company. His reasons for applying <br />for the position on the EDC is that he enjoys the area and the openess of it <br />and he would like to have a part in the future of the City. <br /> <br />EDC/February 8, 1984 <br />Page 1 of 7 <br />
