MINNESOTA <br /> <br />A special meeting of the Economic Development Commission was held on Wednesday, <br />April 18, 1984 at the Ramsey Municipal Center, 15153 NoWbhen Blvd. N.W., <br />Ramsey, Minnesota. <br /> <br />Members Present: Mr. Don Greenberg, Chairman <br />Mr. Bob Muller <br />Mr. Bill Miller <br />Mr. Steve Schmidt <br />Mr. Darryl Fults <br />Ms. Astrid Guy <br />Mr. Bernie Vev.ea (arrived at 7:41 a.m.) <br />Mr. Glen Hardin <br /> <br />Also Present: <br /> <br />City Administrator Lloyd Schnelle <br /> <br />Members Absent: <br /> <br />Mr. Arnie Cox <br />Mr. Jack Schneider <br /> <br />CALL TO ORDER <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />Chairman Greenberg called the special meeting to order at 7:37 a.m. <br /> <br />CITIZEN INPUT <br /> <br />None. <br /> <br />APPROVAL OF AGENDA <br /> <br />Commission consensus was to approve the agenda as submitted. <br /> <br />COMMISSION BUSINESS <br /> <br />Case #1: Discussion Of Highways T.H. #47 and T.H. #169 and T.H. #10: <br /> <br />Chairman Greenberg stated that Ramsey EDC task force on traffic committee <br />has met with Ahoka EDC. <br /> <br />Commissioner Miller stated the result of that meeting was the defining of <br />three traffic problems: <br /> <br />1. Nobody wants Ferry Street widened. <br /> <br />2. The need for a grade separation on Thurston. <br /> <br />3. The need for another bridge across the Mississippi River. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />Commissioner Miller stated that County Commissioner Haas was at this meeting <br />and suggested that the cities of Anoka and Ramsey prepare resolutions to <br />their respective Councils, supporting the Thurston grade separation. <br /> <br />Sp EDC/April 18, 1984 <br />Page I of 3 <br />
