'1 I <br /> <br />~~ <br />~ <br />PET CliNIC ".'''.' ."" <br /> <br />The City of Ramsey will hold a pet clinic for <br />dogs and cats on Saturday, August 25, 1979, at <br />the Ramsey Municipal Center, 15153 Nowthen <br />Blvd., N.W. from 8:00 A.M. to 12:00 NOON. It <br />will be held in the Fire Barn - left at the <br />entrance and around to the rear of the building. <br /> <br />Rabies Vaccinations are $4.00, distemper $6.00 <br />and City dog licenses will be on sale also. Cost <br />for a two year dog license is $3.00 for male or <br />spayed female and $5.00 for unspayed female. <br /> <br />NOTE: You do not have to be a resident of <br />Ramsey to take advantage of the shots at the <br />Pet Clinic. <br /> <br />HUMANE SOCIETY <br /> <br />Through a group of concerned and interested <br />people, the Anoka County Humane Socity was <br />formed May 8, 1979. The group does meet in the <br />Community Room at the Anoka City Hall. All <br />interested persons are encouraged to attend and <br />become involved. Call Sharon Freeburg or Diane <br />Kroska 427-1528 or 434-6421 for more <br />information. <br /> <br />BURNING PERMITS <br /> <br />There has been an increased number of calls to <br />the Ramsey City Hall regarding the issuance of <br />burning permits. The burning permits can only <br />be issued by Mr. Tom Patullo at 421-6159 and <br />Mr. Mike Haller at 421-9475. <br /> <br />The permits are issued for three consecutive <br />days and only for the evening hours from 6:00 <br />P.M. to 6:00 A.M. Burning is permitted only for <br />brush, twigs, leaves, etc., and it must be in a <br />pile. Grass fires are not permitted. <br /> <br />Important things to remember when you want to <br />burn: <br /> <br />1. Do not burn closer than 60-feet from your <br />residence <br />2. Do not burn closer than 600 feet from <br />your neighbors residence <br />3. Do get oral permission from your neighbor <br />if you will be within 600 feet from his <br />residence <br />4. Do call the fire department and notify <br />them you will be burning (This is very <br />important. If you were burning without a <br />permit and someone called the fire <br />department, you would be charged for a <br />fire call.) <br /> <br />There is no charge for the burning permits. <br />
