For those who have not yet had a chance to use the new voto-matic machines, demonstrations will again be held at Bob's Super Valu on October 20th and 27th. The demonstrations held at Bob's in August were well attended and certainly contributed to the success of the primary. Also being coordinated by the league of Women Voters is a "Meet the Candidates" night scheduled for October 26th at the City Hal/ at 7:30 p.m. Candidates to be i nv ited will include both local officials and district representatives. Differences between the primary election and the general that should be noted are the fact that write-ins will be allowed, and that you are allowed to vote a split ballot or choose candidates from more than one political party. Precincts are different than the last general election. Maps are posted throughout the City and questions will be answered November 6 & 7 at City Hall. .
