Minn. <br />Permit No. 131 <br /> <br />P 0 S TAL <br /> <br />PATRON <br /> <br />AMSEY <br />City Newsletter <br /> <br />f) . ~ \ q-t"l <br />.'f'(\ \ <br /> <br />CITY HALL FIRE STATION CONSTRUCTION BEGINS <br /> <br />In accordance with one of the conditions of the EDA Federal Grant of $595,058, which calls <br />for on-site labor to begin within 90 days, the Ramsey City Fire Station and City Hall Project <br />got underway on April 12, 1977. The buil ding is being constructed near the Ramsey El emen- <br />tary School at 15153 Nowthen Boulevard on land the City purchased from Stephan Holasek in <br />September 1975. <br /> <br />The building will house the City Council meetings and other community functions as well as <br />the Police Department, Administration, Building and Assessing and future fire station. <br /> <br />The monies are coming wholly from a Federal Grant under the local public works bill of 1976. <br />The Ramsey project was the first in Minnesota to s~art construction under this bill and <br />very likely one of the first in the Nation. <br /> <br />General contractor for the project is Adolphson and Peterson Inc., and the architect is <br />Setter, leach and lindstrom, Inc. The pos Hion <br />.. 7245 Highway 10, Anoka requires a minimum of one meeting per month; <br />familiarity with the City of Ramsey Ordinance <br />is desired. Ramsey residents interested in <br />serving on the Commission are requested to submit <br />a letter of application to the Ramsey City Hall - <br />14100 St. Francis Boulevard N.W., Anoka, MN 55303 <br />The letter should contain the applicants name, <br />address, phone number, work experience, education <br />and any previous experience in municipal affairs, <br />reasons for seeking appointment. This position <br />is not salaried, however, compensation for incid- <br />ental expenses is provided. <br /> <br />Price of shots are: <br /> <br />$3.00 RABIES <br />$5.00 DISTEMPER <br /> <br />Dog licenses will be sold at the clinic. <br />The price of a dog license is $3.00 for <br />two years for a male or spayed female <br />and $5.00 for two years for an unspayed <br />female. <br />
