The Town Board has taken the position of "incorporation"
which means they want Ramsey to become a city with our own government.
The word "annexation" means we would be controlled by the City of. Anoka
and not have our own government. There is a great difference.

We would like to thank all the citizens from our Township who showed up
for our last annexation hearing at the Commissioners' Room in Anoka and
especially those ladies who carried signs before the meeting. The wea-
ther was zero, very unpleasant, and this was not an easy task and we
want them to know it was very much appreciated and that it did make its
mark. It let people from the Municipal Commission, the City of Anoka,
and especially the residents of Ramsey know that our Township has real
meaning for the people who call it "home."

The Town Board is a\'iare of the fact that many roads are in bad condition.
They know there are many trouble spots. This winter's freezing and thaw-
ing has caused much of this problem. Roads are a priorty item and the
Board plans to upgrade and rebuild roads that are in need of repair.

We hope you have been listening to KANO on Friday noons at 12:45 for our
weekly report.

We have had re uests from citizens in Ramse

information

,
