Among its accomplish ments this year was the completion of Brookview Park located off Hwy. #47 in Brookview Estates and the expansion of Peltzer Park into a fine skatin rink with lights and benches. The entrance to this park is from 149th Ave. and Ramsey Blvd. We hope this rink will be enjoyed by many of our children this winter and the park next summer. We have acquired some playground equipment for placement in several are.a parks next spring. We certainly have appreciated the help we have received from the residents of Ramsey and look forward to your continued support and the help and sup port of many others to develop the parks in your area. If you have any questions or suggestions regarding the parks in Ramsey, please feel free to contact Kathy Schneider at 421-5233. For the safety and protection of all of us in Ramsey Township, it is now required that every house or business must have a minimum size of 4 inch reflective house numbers that are visible from the street, so that an ambulance or police car can easily find its way. Set your radio dial for KANO on Fridays at 12:45 p.m. Each week at this time there will be a report from Ramsey Township. We hope you will find it interesting and newsworthy. We again want to remind everyone, especially our new residents, about you fire insurance coverage for fire calls. Be sure you have a clause in you fire insurance policy to cover the cost of the fire call. If someone new moves into your neighborhood, please inform them about this matter: The last State Legislature passed a law stating that after the 1st of January all registration for voting would be taken care of by the County at the County seat, which is the court' house in Anoka, in our case. All of our registration cards will be delivered there by the end of this year and if you know of someone who is not registered or if new people move into your neighborhood, will you please inform them that they will have to register at the court house in the City of Anoka? Town Board meetings are held the third Monday of each month at 8:00 p.m. The Planning and Zoning meetings are held the first Monday of each month at 6:00 p.m. The Park Board meetings are held the last Monday of each month at 7:00 p.m. All of these meetings are held at the Town Hall and you are welcome to attend any of these meetings.
