Any fires that occur are the responsibility of the pro- perty owner. If fire calls are not paid within six months, they may be assessed on the tax rolls. ****** We would like the Ramsey Lions Club to know how much we appreciate the fact that they are buying some equipment for our parks. By the way they are having a circus to raise money for this purpose at the Anoka County Fairgrounds on June 25th. It is going to be one of the largest circuses shown around this part of the country. ****** We would like to tell you about our parks. We have a number of them that are being readied for use. One is in the Brookview Estates de- velopment. You turn east off Highway #47 on 170th Lane and go east to Germanium Street. It is right there on the corner on the river. We will soon have some tables, benches, trash containers, etc. our there. We are also ordering signs for the parks so our residents will know where the parks are. ****** This is tree planting time and we would urge our residents to think about planting some trees around their areas. Some places in the Town- ship are quite barren and if we start even one tree each year, it will soon make our Township more beautiful, restful and healthy. ****** It is being planned that one of the largest air shows in the country will be at the air field on Ramsey Boulevard on July 13th and 14th. Up to 100,000 people are expected to be in attendance. ****** Operation Identification is going along very well. Many of our resi- dents have borrowed an engraver from this office and gotten their numbers engraved on their belongings. We understand one place was broken into which had the identification decals on their doors, and the theives did not take anything which was marked, only things which could not be marked, such as jewelry and money. We hope you will come in to use this service, if you have not already done so. ~~..
