<br />FINANCE COMMITTEE <br />CITY OF RAMSEY <br />ANOKA COUNTY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> <br />The Finance Committee conducted a regular meeting on Tuesday, March 27, 2007, at the <br />Ramsey Municipal Center, 7550 Sunwood Drive NW, Ramsey, Minnesota. <br /> <br />Members Present: <br /> <br />Chairperson Sarah Strommen <br />Councilmember David Elvig <br />Councilmember Matt Look <br /> <br />Also Present: <br /> <br />Finance Officer Diana Lund <br />Parks Supervisor Mark Riverblood <br />Management Intern Timothy Gladhill <br /> <br />CALL TO ORDER <br /> <br />Chairperson Strommen called the regular meeting of the Finance Committee to order at 5:48 <br />p.m. <br /> <br />CITIZEN INPUT <br /> <br />There was none. <br /> <br />APPROVE AGENDA <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Look, seconded by Councilmember Elvig, to approve the agenda as <br />submitted. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Chairperson Strommen, Councilmembers Look and Elvig. Voting <br />No: None. <br /> <br />COMMITTEE BUSINESS <br /> <br />Case #1: <br /> <br />Concept Planning for Municipal Property West of Sunfish Lake <br /> <br />Parks Supervisor Riverblood stated the purpose of this case is to initiate concept planning for the <br />City owned land on the west side of Sunfish Lake. $30,000 is proposed within the Capital <br />Improvement Program (CIP) to provide for planning expenses relating to this significant site. <br />The funding source would be the Park Trust Fund. Mr. Riverblood explained the Request for <br />Proposal (RFP) recommends concept planning for all municipal property adjacent to the lake. In <br />addition, the City is also looking to the future development potentials in the immediate vicinity <br />so as to best determine project and site needed park elements, as well as other public <br />improvements (such as utilities and accesses) relating to the park, with adjacent land uses. <br /> <br />Finance Committee / March 27, 2007 <br />Page 1 of 4 <br />
