PROCEEDINGS OF THE CITY COUNCIL <br /> <br /> CITY OF RAMSEY <br /> ANOKA COUNTY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> <br />A regular meeting of the Ramsey City Council was held on Tuesday, <br />May 26, 1981~ at the Ramsey Momi¢ipal Center, 15153 Nowthen Boulevard <br />N.W., Ramsey, Minnesota 55303. <br /> <br />Members Present: <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec <br />Councilwoman Van Wagner <br />Councilman Reimsmn <br />Councilman Cox <br />Councilman Sorteberg <br /> <br />Also Present: <br /> <br />City Administrator Schnelle <br />City Attorney Goodrich <br />City Building Official Berg <br />City Engineer Raatikka <br />Press: Eric Sandin <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec called the meeting to order at 7:32 p.m. and led in the <br />Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag. <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec presented Dedication Awards as follows: <br /> <br />Resolution #81-27A - Resolution commending Police Officer Michael <br />Eason of the Ramsey Police Department for Life Saving. <br /> <br />Resolution #81-27A - Resolution commending Police Officer Thomas <br />Anderson of the Ramsey Police Department for Life Saving. <br /> <br />Resolution #81-27 - Resolution commending Ms. Jearme Moen, City <br />Accomntant for her attention to the performance of her job as <br />City Accountant. <br /> <br />7:41 p.m. - MEETING CALLED TO ORDER FOR PUBLIC HEARING <br /> <br />RE: STREET I~NT PROJECT #81-3 BOWERS DRI~-E <br /> <br />City Engineer Raatikka discussed plans and specifications for the <br />project and asked for questions in regard to this project. <br /> <br />Resident Dennis Potter, 14200 Bowers Drive, inquired about the exact <br />end of Bowers Drive--what would be done there. City Engineer Raatikka <br />stated it would have a turn-around at the end. <br /> <br />Resident at 14553 Bowers Drive, asked if the 156 feet would include <br />drainage ditches. City Engineer Raatikka stated it would need <br />run along curb line in Mississippi area; resident asked would, that <br />road be widened. City Engineer Raatikka stated yes, about four feet. <br />Resident asked what the clearing would be.
