Ramsey, MN 55303 <br /> <br />Present: Mayor Cox Also Present: Adm. Asst. Nereson <br /> Councilman Gorham Deputy Clerk Peddycoart <br /> Councilman Mickelson <br /> Councilman Muller <br /> Councilman Reimann <br /> <br />Mayor Cox called the meeting to order at 7:33 p.m. <br /> <br />OATH OF OFFICIALS <br /> <br /> ¢ <br />Mr. Nereson gave Oath of Office to Mr. Arnold Cox, Mayor; Mr. David Mickelson, <br />Councilman; and Mr. Robert Muller, Councilman. <br /> <br />Mayor Cox on behalf of the Council extended a sincere welcome to Mr. Muller. <br />APPROVAL OF AGENDA <br /> <br />Mayor Cox added to New Business, Item g. Blanket easement of North Central <br />Gas. <br /> <br />Motion by Gotham, seconded by Mickelson to accept the Agenda as received by mail <br />with the addition of Item g.under New Business. <br /> Carried 5 Ayes <br /> <br />CITIZEN INPUT <br /> <br />Mayor Cox asked for citizen input and there was no response from the audience. <br /> <br />ACTING MAYOR APPOINTMENT <br /> <br />Motion by Reimann, seconded by Mickelson to appoint Councilman Gotham as Acting Mayor <br />for 1977. <br /> Carried 5 Ayes <br /> <br />APPOINTMENT OF HEALTH OFFICER <br /> <br />Motion by Gorham, seconded by Mickelson to appoint Dr. Ronald J. Jankowski as <br />Health Officer for the City of Ramsey for the year 1977. <br /> Carried 5 Ayes <br /> <br />DESIGNATION OF OFFICIAL PAPER <br /> <br />Mr. Nereson read a letter from Anoka County Union regarding rates. He reviewed <br />qualifications for a legal newspaper. <br /> <br />Motion by Reimann, seconded by Gorham to designate the Anoka County Union as <br />Official Newspaper for the City of Ramsey. <br /> Carried 5 &yes <br /> <br />Discussion: <br /> <br /> <br />
