CITY COUNCIL WORK SESSION <br />CITY OF RAMSEY <br /> ANOKA COUNTY <br /> STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> <br />Thc Ramsey City Council conducted a City Council Work Session on Tuesday, May 17, 2005, at <br />the Rarnsey Fire Station Number I, 15050 Armstrong Boulevard NW, Ramsey, Minnesota. <br /> <br />Members Present: <br /> <br />Mayor Thomas Gamec <br />Councilmember Todd Cook <br />Councilmember David Elvig <br />Councilmember David Jeffrey <br />Councilmember Mary Jo Olson <br />Councilmember Al Pearson <br />Councilmember Sarah Strommen <br /> <br />Also Present: <br /> <br />City Administrator James E. Norman <br />Assistant City Administrator Heidi Nelson <br />Finance Officer Diana Lund <br />Director of Public Works/Fire Chief Dean Kapler <br />Assistant Director of Public Works Brian Olson <br />Cheryl Badinger of 3D/I <br />Bill Baxley of BKV Group <br /> <br />CALL TO ORDER <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec called the City Council Work Session to order at 7:35 p.m. <br /> <br />APPROVE AGENDA <br /> <br />Thc agenda was approved as submitted. <br /> <br />COUNCIL TOPICS FOR DISCUSSION <br /> <br />1) Municipal Center Building Process/Municipal Center Construction Process <br /> <br />Assistant City Administrator Nelson indicated bid opening for the new Ramsey Municipal <br />Center was held on Thursday, May 5th. The bidding process went very well, with 141 bidders for <br />28 bid divisions. <br /> <br />Cheryl Badinger of 3D/I reviewed the following information with the Council: <br />· Municipal Center Bid Summary <br />· Recommendation for Waiver of Irregularities or Informalities/Recommendation for Rejection <br /> of Bids <br /> <br />City Council Work Session/May 17, 2005 <br /> Page 1 of 4 <br /> <br /> <br />
