CHARTER COMMISSION <br />CITY OF RAMSEY <br />ANOKA COUNTY <br /> STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> <br />The Ramsey Charter Commission conducted a regular meeting on Tuesday August 22, 2000, at <br />the Ramsey Municipal Center, 15153 Nowthen Boulevard NW, Ramsey, Minnesota. <br /> <br />Members Present: <br /> <br />Chairperson Keith Kie£er <br />Commissioner Barry Childs <br />Commissioner Marguerite Henke (arrived 6:12 p.m.) <br />Commissioner Hannah LaMere <br />Commissioner Virginia Spain Brist (arrived 6:08 p.m.) <br /> <br />Members Absent: <br /> <br />Commissioner <br />Commissioner <br />Commissioner <br />Commissioner <br /> <br />Dennis Donovan <br />Richard Netzloff <br />Kathy Rosenow <br />Timothy Vogt <br /> <br />Also Present: <br /> <br />Assistant City Administrator Klm Moore-Sykes <br />City Attorney Bill Goodrich <br /> <br />The meeting was scheduled to begin at 5:30. Mr. Goodrich suggested an informal discussion be <br />had and that the Chair could call the meeting to order once a quorum arrived. <br /> <br />Discussion began at 5:50 p.m. <br /> <br />Commissioner Childs noted that the ordinance shows the split of the duties of City Clerk and <br />City Administrator thc way he thought it should be and he would recommend it to the City <br />Council. <br /> <br />Chairperson Kiefer agreed, stating he had no issues with it and that he, too, would recommend <br />this to the City Council. <br /> <br />Commissioner Spain Brist arrived (6:08 p.m.) <br /> <br />It was lnentioned that the next meeting would be the third Wednesday in October - the 18th, at <br />7:30 p.m. <br /> <br />Commissioner Henke arrived (6:12 p.m.) <br /> <br />CALLTO ORDER <br /> <br />Chairperson Kiefer called the regular meeting of the Charter Commission to order at 6:12 p.m. <br /> <br />Charter Commission - August 22, 2000 <br /> Page 1 of 3 <br /> <br /> <br />
