Administrator's Report <br />Council Update <br />Curbside Recycling Event <br />Did you miss the Spring <br />Recycling Day event? Do you <br />have larger, bulky items that <br />are ready to be recycled? The <br />City of Ramsey has partnered <br />with Certified Recycling to offer a curbside recycling <br />collection event from August 4 through August 15. As <br />long as the item(s) is listed on the promotion for this <br />event, all you have to do is call Certified Recycling at <br />952-894-1448 to schedule a pick up, pay the fee for <br />the item(s) and get it curbside on the scheduled day <br />for pick up. Questions about whether an item may be <br />accepted should be directed to Certified Recycling. Through Change Order <br />#3, Magney has requested a time extension of 79 calendar days <br />to the Substantial Completion date and 64 calendar days to <br />the Final Completion date. If approved, this would amend <br />the Substantial Completion date to October 15, 2025 and <br />the Final Completion date to December 31, 2025. Council <br />approved the resolution with a vote of five to two. <br />The next case was to Adopt Resolution #25-175 Approving <br />Engineering Amendment No. 3 for Improvement Project #21- <br />09, Centralized Water Treatment Plant. Per the previous case, <br />Magney Construction, Inc. submitted a request for Change <br />Order #3. With the previous time extension approval, <br />additional time will be required of AE2S' Resident Project <br />Representative (RPR), the project engineer and various <br />other AE2S staff acting on behalf of the City throughout <br />final completion. Engineering Amendment #3 is requesting <br />additional funding in an amount not to exceed $184,300. <br />This is based on a fixed time extension of 79 calendar days <br />to the Substantial Completion date and 64 calendar days to <br />the Final Completion date per Change Order #3. Council <br />approved the resolution with a vote of four to three. <br />The final case was Attorney -Client Privileged Discussion <br />of Litigation: Murray v City of Ramsey (Conciliation Court <br />Appeal) - Closed to the Public. During the closed session <br />the City Council by consensus passed resolution #25-177 <br />which is Ramsey accepting and ratifying the settlement terms <br />negotiated in the matter of Murray v.
