In addition, the brochures have been
faxed to those additional parties that have requested a copy. The brochure has also been included
as an insert in the Anoka Area Chamber of Commerce newsletter. This should arrive at the local
businesses during the week of July 15th.

The City has currently received reservations for 11 teams and 3 hole sponsors for the event. Since
many of the businesses have not yet received the brochure this is a fairly strong turn-out. Each
team will receive hats that reflect the company sponsoring the team, In addition to these gifts, the
Commission will need to acquire additional door prizes for the dinner portion of the event. The bid
from the Links includes $3.00 per golfer in the pro-shop for prizes.

It was the consensus of the Commission to review this issue at the next meeting to determine if a
final push needs to be undertaken to allow for a full tournament. In addition, the issue of door
prizes will need to be addressed if we have not yet received a considerable number of prizes.
Commissioners agreed to contact any businesses that they regularly do business with and request
the possible donation of door prizes. Additional flyers will be available for the event at the City.

Case #2: 1996 Itall of Fame Inductee

At the last Commission meeting, discussion began regarding the 1996 inductee to the Ramsey Hall
of Fame.
