District - A section or sections of the City for which the regulations and <br />provisions governing the use of buildings and lands are uniform for each class of use <br />permitted therein. <br /> <br /> Domestic Sewage - Sewage that might be generated by a dwelling; a <br />toilet facility at an establishment open to the public; rental units, such as motels and <br />resort cabins, or showers and toilet facilities for schools or campgrounds. <br /> <br /> Domestic Waste Water - Any water generated by a use used for personal <br />hygiene such as lavatories and related sinks. This definition shall apply only to §9.20.25 <br />and §9.20.27 (RB and RI) of this Chapter. <br /> <br />Draining - The removal of surface water or groundwater from land. <br /> <br /> Drive-In Establishment - An establishment which accom~nod-~os the <br />commodi~ to the occupants of a motor vehicle, in ~+2ch przauctsv~-~-o~°~ from. the <br /> <br /> Driveway - An on-site traffic lane leading directly to a garage from the <br />closest street access, the width of which cannot exceed the garage width by more than <br />fifteen (15) feet, or in the absence of a garage, a traffic lane to a parking pad that cannot <br />exceed twenty (20) feet in width. <br /> <br /> Dwelling Unit - A residential building or portion thereof intended for <br />occupancy by one family including apartments but not including hotels, motels, nursing <br />homes, seasonal cabins, boardihg or rooming houses, tourist homes or trailers. <br /> <br /> Dwelling, Attached - A dwelling which is joined to another at one or <br />more sides by a party wall. <br /> <br />structure. <br /> <br />Dwelling, Detached - A dwelling unit not attached to another dwelling or <br /> <br /> Dwelling, Multiple (Apartment) - A building designed with three (3) or <br />more dwelling units exclusively for occupancy by three (3) or more families living <br />independently of each other but sharing hallways and main entrances and exits. <br /> <br /> Dwelling, Single Family - A dwelling unit designed exclusively for <br />occupancy by one family. <br /> <br /> Dwelling, Twinhome - A building containing two attached dwelling units, <br />side-by-side, that share common walls at the lot line and that are on separate lots. <br /> <br /> Dwelling, Two Family (Duplex) - A dwelling designed exclusively for <br />occupancy by two (2) families living independently of each other. <br /> <br />9.02 - Definitions 9-10 Jan.
