Council Member introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION # <br /> <br /> AUTHORIZATION TO HIRE ASSOCIATE PLANNER <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, on May 13, 2003 the City Council authorized staff to begin a <br />recruitment process for an Associate Planner; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the position was posted internally; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Amy Geisler, Community Development Intern, submitted an <br />application for the position; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Ms. Geisler was interviewed by the Community Development <br />Director, Principal Planner and the Human Resources Manager. <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED THAT THE CITY COUNCIL OF <br />THE CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, <br /> <br />Confirms the recommendation of the Personnel Committee to do the following: <br /> <br />Hire Amy Geisler as an Associate Planner with an annual salary of $42,740 annually, <br />contingent upon satisfactory background and reference checks, an employment physical <br />and a drug and alcohol screen. All other personnel polices will apply normally. <br />Ms. Geisler will begin employment on or near June 25, 2003 and she will be subject to a <br />six-month probationary period. <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Council <br />Member, , and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof'. <br /> <br />and the following voted against the same: <br />and the following abstained: <br />and the following were absent: <br /> <br />Whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted by the Ramsey City <br />Council this the 24th day of June, 2003. <br /> <br />-406- <br /> <br /> <br />
