Absent: Commissioners Holland and Terry. <br /> <br />Motion by Commissioner Deemer and seconded by Commissioner Hendriksen to amend #14 to <br />read "That the proposed use will be operated and maintained so as to harmonious and appropriate <br />in appearance with the existing or intended character of the general vicinity and such use will <br />change the essential or intended character of the area." <br /> <br />Motion carded. Voting Yes: Chairperson Bawden, Commissioners Deemer, Hendriksen, LaDue, <br />and Thorud. Voting No: None. Absent: Commissioners Holland and Terry. <br /> <br />Motion by Commissioner Deemer and seconded by Commissioner Hendriksen to amend #15 to <br />read "That the proposed use will increase traffic to and from the Subject Property." <br /> <br />Motion carded. Absent: Commissioners Holland and Terry. <br /> <br />Motion by Commissioner Thomd and seconded by Commissioner Deemer to amend #16 to read <br />"That the proposed use will be disturbing to existing or future neighboring uses and the rural <br />residential character of the neighborhood because of traffic, noise, and visual impact generated by <br />the equipment." <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Chairperson Bawden, Commissioners Thorud, Deemer, <br />Hendriksen, and LaDue. Voting No: None. Absent: Commissioners Holland and Terry. <br /> <br />Motion by Commissioner Deemer and seconded by Commissioner Hendriksen to amend #17 to <br />read "That the proposed use will not be a substantial improvement to the property in the immediate <br />vicinity and to the community as a whole." <br /> <br />Motion carded. Voting Yes: Chairperson Bawden, Commissioners Deemer, Hendriksen, LaDue, <br />and Thorud. Voting No: None. Absent: Commissioners Holland and Terry. <br /> <br />Motion by Commissioner Hendriksen and seconded by Commissioner Deemer to amend #18 to <br />read "That the proposed use will not create excessive additional requirements at public cost for <br />public facilities and services and it will not be detrimental to the economic welfare of the <br />community." <br /> <br />Motion carried. Absent: Commissioners Holland and Terry. <br /> <br />Motion by Commissioner Hendriksen and seconded by Commissioner Deemer to amend #19 to <br />read "That the proposed use will involve the use of equipment that will be detrimental to the <br />serenity and peacefulness of the residential neighborhood by reason of production of noise, traffic, <br />odor, and visual impact." <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Chairperson Bawden, Commissioners Hendriksen, Deemer, LaDue, <br />and Thorud. Voting No: None.
