The
Parks and Recreation Commission met on June 8, 1995 and recommended acceptance of the
wetland area and some high ground in the northeast corner of the plat for park and open space
purposes; their intent is to develop a trail around the perimeter of the wetland with some picnic
sites. The plat proposes to extend Sunwood Drive west to Ramsey Boulevard to provide access to
all of the lots. Note that Altron has notified the City of their concern regarding the impact that the
proposed extension of Sunwood Drive has on the Altron property. The AEC facility on Lot 1,
Block 1 is proposing to have access to County Roads #56 and #116, and the Anoka County
Highway Department has found the access scheme to be acceptable.

Planning Commission/July 5, 1995
