Motion by Commissioner Hendriksen and seconded by Commissioner Holland to recommend that <br />City Council adopt a resolution approving the issuance of a home occupation permit at 8131 154th <br />Lane N.W. and declaring the terms of same, as amended. <br /> <br />Motion carded. Voting Yes: Chairperson Bawden, Commissioners Hendriksen, Holland, <br />Deemer, LaDue, Terry, and Thomd. Voting No: None. <br /> <br />Case /t4: Request for Sketch Plan Approval of Brandseth; Case of Blaine <br /> Edmundson <br /> <br />Zoning Administrator Frolik advised that Blaine Edmundson is requesting sketch plan approval of <br />Brandseth located in the southwest comer of 153rd Avenue and T.H. #47. The plat consists of <br />approximately 22.5 acres proposed to be platted into 45 single family residential lots served by <br />municipal water and sanitary sewer. A majority of the property is zoned B- 1 Business except for a <br />small portion along the south plat boundary which is zoned R-1 Residential and is being acquired <br />from an adjacent property. The developer proposes to rezone to R-1 Urban Residential and retain <br />some B-1 Business property adjacent to T.H. #47. The Park Commission will be reviewing the <br />plat at their September 14 meeting. <br /> <br />City Engineer Jankowski reviewed the drainage plan outlined in the Staff Review letter dated <br />August 29, 1995. <br /> <br />Motion by Commissioner Holland and seconded by Commissioner LaDue to recommend that the <br />developer of Brandseth be directed to proceed to apply for preliminary plat approval. <br /> <br />Amendment by Commissioner Deemer and seconded by Commissioner Hendriksen that if the Park <br />and Recreation Commission decides to require land as park dedication, the developer is directed to <br />return to the Planning Commission with a sketch plan. <br /> <br />Amendment carried. Voting Yes: Commissioners Deemer, Hendriksen, Holland, and Terry. <br />Voting No: Chairperson Bawden, Commissioners LaDue and Thomd. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting No: None. <br /> <br />Case #5: Review Covenants for Business Park 95 <br /> <br />Zoning Administrator Frolik stated that the City acquired industrial property located between <br />Sunfish Lake Boulevard (east) to the boundary of the City of Anoka, and the same was platted as <br />Business Park 95. To ensure that the buildings constructed are suitable for the Park, the City <br />Council adopted covenants similar to the covenants covering the City of Anoka's Industrial Park <br />(abutting Ramsey's Park to the cas0 and conforming with Ramsey City Code. The covenants call <br />for the establishment of an Architectural Review Board, and Council has directed that the Board <br />consist of two members of the Planning Commission, two members of the Economic Development <br />Commission, two property owners from the Industrial Park and the City Administrator. <br /> <br />Commissioner Holland inquired as to how long the appointment would be, and Ms. Frolik replied <br />that it would run with the term of commissioner. <br /> <br />Motion by Commissioner Hendriksen and seconded by Commissioner Holland to appoint <br />Benjamin Deemer and Bradley Thomd to the Business Park 95 Architectural Review Board. <br /> <br />Motion carried.
