Case/41: <br /> <br />REVIEW SUGGESTED AMENDMENTS TO CHAPTER 9 OF CITY <br />CODE <br /> <br />The Park and Recreation Commission reviewed changes by the Planning Commission to selected <br />sections of Chapter 9 to determine its own opinion and further changes that may be needed. <br /> <br />Motion by Chairperson Hetland and seconded by Commissioner Johns to approve Chapter 9 of <br />the City Code as am_mended including the following: <br /> <br />Page 9 <br /> <br />Subd. 2. City action. <br />Change current paragraph "b" to paragraph "c" and add the following as "b": <br />b. City Staff shall forward to Park and Recreation and Planning <br />Commissions the case and development agreement requesting final plat <br />approval on all cases other than administrative subdivisions pdor to Council <br />action. <br /> <br />Subd. 3. Recording. <br />"released" is misspelled. <br /> <br />Page 14 <br /> <br />Subd. 9. Required improvements. <br />b .... Grade and provide appropriate sun"acing, as recommended and <br />approved by the Park and Recreation Commission and the City Engineer, <br />of trails identified by the City as horse or wilderness trails. <br /> <br />c. Complete, construct, and pave walkways which may be required for. <br />transportaion as a result of the plat in accordance with city standards. Such <br />walkways may be within or abutting residential street ROW. No park <br />dedication credit will be given for these segments or construction thereof. <br /> <br />Page 18 <br /> <br />Subd. 3. Basic improvements installed by developer. <br />b. Stage I Improvements. <br /> 9. The Park and Recreation Commission shall establish a park and trail <br />development plan prior to recording of the plat and entedng into the <br />development agreement. The devIopment agreement shall require this <br />park and trail development to be completed as a Stage I Improvement. <br /> <br />Page 19 <br /> <br />c. Stage II Improvements. <br /> 6. Boulevard Sodding and Front Yard Tree(s). <br />These items shall be completed just prior to occupancy of the building. <br />These items may be completed sooner provided the developer/subdivider <br />maintain the sod and tree(s) until the dwelling or structure is occupied. <br /> <br />Page 26 <br /> <br />9.50.57 Sidewalks and pedestrian ways. <br />Subd. 2.
