Mr. Schroeder reported that Mr. Huff has inspected the building; howevcr, it will be different once it's raised up. Mayor Hardin felt that it is still worth pursuing. "We have a treasure in town that has potential". Councilmember Zimmerman stated that there has been discussions about moving that facility out to the educational facility by the landfill. Mr. Schroeder stated that if the building is moved off it's original site, it would lose it's historic status. He stated if the building and site improvements are completed it could be a good amenity. It is not situated so it denigrates any land around it. We will not have a huge marketable asset by moving the building. Councilmember Zimmennan stated he can support this if we find a funding source. He did not want to use CDBG funds for this. Councilmember Peterson inquired about the choices. Mr. Schroeder stated he intends to have the locai match out of the 1996 budget; however, he has not had a chance to absolutely verify this with the Historical Society. Motion by Councilmember Peterson and seconded by Councilmember Beahen to authorize the Mayor and City Administrator to sign all documents relating to the submittal of the grant application. Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Hardin, Councilmembers Peterson and Beahen. Voting No: Councilmember Zimmerman. Absent: Councilmember Beyer. Case 88: Report from Finance Committee The Finance Committee nominated Councilmember Peterson as their Chairperson and Councilmember Beyer as their Vice-Chairperson. Motion by Mayor Hardin and seconded by Councilmember Peterson to ratify the appointments of Councilmember Peterson as Chair and Councilmember Beyer as Vice- Chair of the Finance Committee. Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Hardin, Councilmembers Peterson, Beaben and Zimmerman. Voting No: None. Absent: Councilmember Beyer. Finance Officer Hart stated that the Finance Committee discussed thc purchase of two copy machines. The machine for thc Police Departtncnt was not in the original budget, however, they began experiencing continuous problems with their machine and there was the potential of getting a better deal by purchasing two at the same time. The Committee recommended the purchase of the two machines. Motion by Councilmember Peterson and seconded by Councilrnember Zimmerman to adopt Resolution 095-01-025 authorizing purchase of two copy machines and amending the 1995 adopted General Fund Budget.
