Ms. Frolik responded that it will and suggested that maybe the applicant would be willing <br />to add some decorative concrete block on the building front. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Zimmerman and seconded by Councilmember Beyer to approve <br />the proposed modification to the phasing plan and the building design for Anchor's Away <br />in Deal Industrial Park and to break up part of the wall with textured brick. <br /> <br />Motion carded. Voting Yes: Councilmembers Zimmerman, Beyer, Beahen and Peterson. <br />Voting No: None. Abstain: Mayor Hardin. <br /> <br />Case #5: Modification to Structure Design for Expansion to Grace <br /> Community Bible Church; Case of Grace Community Bible <br /> Church <br /> <br />Zoning Administrator Frolik explained that the Grace Community Bible Church has <br />indicated a desire to modify the design of the expansion from the hexagon shape previously <br />approved to a simpler, less costly rectangle shape. The size and exterior facing remains the <br />same. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Beahen and seconded by Councilmember Beyer to approve the <br />modification to the structure design for the expansion to the Grace Community Bible <br />Church. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Hardin, Councilmembers Beahen, Beyer, Peterson <br />and Zimmerman. Voting No: None. <br /> <br />Case #6: <br /> <br />Adopt Ordinance to Rezone Certain Property from B-3 <br />Highway Business to R-1 Urban Residential; Case of Super <br />Bowl, Inc. and Fitzsimonds Builders, Inc. <br /> <br />Zoning Administrator Frolik stated that Council adopted findings and fact and introduced <br />an ordinance to rezone certain property in the plat of Riverside West from B-3 Highway <br />Business to R-1 Urban Residential. The ordinance is now being presented for formal <br />adoption. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Peterson and seconded by Councilmember Beyer to adopt <br />Ordinance g95-14 rezoning certain property in Riverside West from B-3 Highway <br />Business to R-1 Urban Residential. <br /> <br />Motion carded. Voting Yes: Mayor Hardin, Councilmembers Peterson, Beyer, Beahen <br />and Zimmerman. Voting No: None. <br /> <br />Case g'/: Request for a Home Occupation Permit; Case of Susan Maxson <br /> <br />-Zoning Administrator Frolik reported that Susan Maxson of 8131 - 154th Lane N.W. has <br />applied for a home occupation permit to establish and operate a dog grooming service in the <br />lower level of her home. The area devoted to the business would not exceed 20 percent of <br />the total floor area of the home. The employees would be restricted to the residents of the <br />home. The driveway is large enough to provide a sufficient amount of off-street parking <br />for a four-customer/day operation. A public heating was conducted by the Planning <br />Commission and no verbal or written comments were submitted. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Zimmerman and seconded by Councilmember Beyer to adopt <br />Resolution g95-09-208 adopting Findings of Fact g0386 relating to a request for a home <br />occupation permit at 8131 - 154th Lane N.W. <br /> <br />City Council/September 12, 1995 <br /> Page 8 of 13 <br /> <br /> <br />
