Ms. Frolik informed that there were 2 or 3 others. <br /> <br />Ms. Jackson interjected that she is the only one living in the house at present and is only looking <br />for one renter. <br /> <br />Commissioner Thomd inquired about the difference ofjust having a roommate (in which a CUP is <br />not required). <br /> <br />Ms. Frolik replied that the difference is that she is making a profit and that she has separate living <br />quarters. <br /> <br />Commissioner Deemer perceived the CUP as spot zoning which will be permanent, and he stated <br />that he opposed such. <br /> <br />It was the consensus of the Planning Commission to go with an Interim Use Permit. <br /> <br />The Planning Commission proceeded to review the Findings of Fact. <br /> <br />Motion by Commissioner Deemer and seconded by Commissioner Holland to accept gl through <br />#7 as presented. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Chairperson Bawden, Commissioners Deemer, Holland, LaDue, <br />Terry, and Thorud. Voting No: None. Absent: Commissioner Hendriksen. <br /> <br />Motion by Commissioner Terry and seconded by Commissioner Holland to amend #8 to read <br />"That the proposed use will not adversely impact traffic in the area." <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Chairperson Bawden, Commissioners Terry, Holland, Deemer, <br />LaDue, and Thorud. Voting No: None. Absent: Commissioner Hendriksen. <br /> <br />Motion by Commissioner Holland and seconded by Commissioner Deemer to amend g9 to read <br />"That the proposed use will not be dangerous or detrimental to persons residing or working in the <br />vicinity." <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Chairperson Bawden, Commissioners Holland, Deemer, LaDue, <br />Terry, and Thorud. Voting No: None. Absent: Commissioner Hendriksen. <br /> <br />Motion by Commissioner Holland and seconded by Commissioner Deemer to amend gl0 to read <br />"That the proposed zoning amendment will not substantially adversely impair the use, enjoyment <br />or market value of surrounding properties." <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Chairperson Bawden, Commissioners Holland, Deemer, LaDue, <br />Terry, and Thorud. Voting No: None. Absent: Commissioner Hendriksen. <br /> <br />Motion by Commissioner Thorud and seconded by Commissioner Holland to amend gl 1 to read <br />"That the proposed use will be maintained in order to be harmonious in appearance with the <br />existing and intended character of the R-I Rural Residential District." <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Chairperson Bawden, Commissioners Thorud, Holland, Deemer, <br />LaDue, and Terry. Voting No: None.
