Absent: Commissioner Hendriksen. <br /> <br />Motion by Commissioner Holland and seconded by Commissioner Terry to amend #13 to read <br />"That the proposed use will not create excessive additional requirements at public cost for public <br />facilities and services." <br /> <br />Motion carded. Voting Yes: Chairperson Bawden, Commissioners Holland, Terry, Deemer, <br />LaDue, and Thorud. Voting No: None. Absent:. Commissioner Hendriksen. <br /> <br />Motion by Commissioner Deemer and seconded by Commissioner Holland to amend #8 through <br />#13 to replace "That the proposed use..." with "That as proposed, the use..." <br /> <br />Motion failed. Voting Yes: Commissioners Deemer and Terry. Voting No: Chairperson <br />Bawden, Commissioners Holland, LaDue, and Thorud. Absent: Commissioner Hendriksen. <br /> <br />Motion by Commissioner Thorud and seconded by Commissioner Terry to add a finding to read <br />"That at least one neighbor opposes the issuance of this permit." <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Chairperson Bawden, Commissioners Thorud, Terry, Deemer, <br />Holland, and LaDue. Voting No: None. Absent: Commissioner Hendriksen. <br /> <br />Motion by Commissioner Holland and seconded by Commissioner Deemer to add a finding to read <br />"That based on the comments at the public hearing and the discussion of the Planning Commission <br />on July 5, 1994, the consensus of the Planning Commission was that the type of permit issued, if <br />it is issued, should be interim use rather than conditional use so that the permit may expire <br />concurrent with the applicant's ownership of the property." <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Chairperson Bawden, Commissioners Holland, Deemer, LaDue, <br />Terry, and Thom& Voting No: None. Absent: Commissioner Hendriksen. <br /> <br />Motion by Commissioner Deemer and seconded by Commissioner Holland to recommend that City <br />Council adopt the Findings of Fact relating to Rebecca Jackson's request for a conditional use <br />permit for an accessory apartment. <br /> <br />Motion carded. Voting Yes: Chairperson Bawden, Commissioners Deemer, Holland, LaDue, <br />Terry, and Thorud. Voting No: None. Absent: Commissioner Hendriksen. <br /> <br />The Planning Commission proceeded to review the terms of the CUP. <br /> <br />Motion by Commissioner Deemer and seconded by Commissioner Terry to replace any references <br />to "conditional use permit" with "interim use permit."- <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Chairperson Bawden, Commissioners Deemer, Terry, Holland, <br />LaDue, and Thorud. Voting No: None. Absent: Commissioner Hendriksen. <br /> <br />Motion by Commissioner Deemer and seconded by Commissioner Terry to amend #2 to read "That <br />said Permit shall remain in effect so long as the conditions imposed herein are complied with and <br />Rebecca Jackson maintains residence in one of the two units on the Subject Property." <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Chairperson Bawden, Commissioners Deemer, Terry, Holland, <br />LaDue, and Thorud. Voting No: None.
