Motion by Commissioner Holland and seconded by Commissioner Thorud to recommend that City <br />Council approve Rebecca Jackson's interim use permit for an accessory apartment at 15720 <br />Kangaroo Street N.W. and declaring terms of same, as amended. <br /> <br />Motion carriod. Voting Yes: Chairperson Bawden, Commissioners Holland, Thorud, Deemer, <br />LaDue, and Terry. Voting No: None. Absent: Commissioner Henddksen. <br /> <br />Case #4: <br /> <br />Request for an Interim Use Permit for a Temporary Structure; Case <br />of City Wide Garage Door Company, Inc. <br /> <br />Zoning Administrator Frolik stated that Ivan Clausen of City Wide Garage Door Company, Inc. <br />has applied for an interim use permit (IUP) to place a temporary structure at 6845 Highway #10 <br />N.W. She advised that the structure is approximately 648 square feet and will be used to replace <br />office space damaged by fire until the principal building on the property is repaired. Ms. Frolik <br />explained that due to the emergency situation, City Staff permitted Mr. Clausen to bring this <br />structure onto the site prior to any action by the Planning Commission or City Council. She added <br />that Mr. Clausen signed an agreement and deposited a $500 financial guarantee with the City to <br />ensure timely removal of the structure in the event the permit application is denied or upon the <br />expiration date established in an approved permit. <br /> <br />The Planning Commission proceeded to review the Findings of Fact. <br /> <br />Motion by Commissioner Deemer and seconded by Commissioner Holland to accept #1 through <br />#9 as presented. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Chairperson Bawden, Commissioners Deemer, Holland, LaDue, <br />Terry, and Thorud. Voting No: None. Absent: Commissioner Hendriksen. <br /> <br />Motion by Commissioner Deemer and seconded by Commissioner Terry to amend #10 through <br />#14 in the 'affu'mative. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Chairperson Bawden, Commissioners Deemer, Terry, Holland, <br />LaDue, and Thorud. Voting No: None. Absent: Commissioner Hendriksen. <br /> <br />Motion by Commissioner LaDue and seconded by Commissioner Deemer to recommend that City <br />Council adopt the amended findings of fact relating to a request for an interim use permit for a <br />temporary structure from City Wide Garage Door Company, Inc. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Chairperson Bawden, Commissioners LaDue, Deemer, Holland, <br />Terry, and Thorud. Voting No: None. Absent: Commissioner Hendriksen. <br /> <br />The Planning Commission proceeded to review the terms of the IUP. <br /> <br />Motion by Commissioner Deemer and seconded by Commissioner Holland to amend #2 to read <br />....
