Voting No: None. <br /> <br />The Planning Commission proceeded to review the terms of the utility permit. <br /> <br />Motion by Commissioner Deemer and seconded by Commissioner Holland to recommend that City <br />Council approve the issuance of a utility permit to Anoka Municipal Electric for the installation and <br />operation of transmission lines and declare terms of same, pending examination for liability by the <br />City Attorney. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Chairperson Bawden, Commissioners Deemer, Holland, <br />Hendriksen, LaDue, Terry, and Thorud. Voting No: None. <br /> <br />Case geT: Discussion of Previous Staff Direction for Architectural Review <br /> Ordinance <br /> <br />Chairperson Bawden suggested that, due to the long time delay, Staff go back to City Council <br />requesting direction concerning the intent for such a review. <br /> <br />Zoning Administrator Frolik stated that if it's the City's intent to drive up the average market value <br />of homes in Ramsey, then there should be an architectural review ordinance. <br /> <br />Commissioner Deemer stated that there is already an architectural review ordinance in place for <br />commercial, however, he doesn't think the builders would stand for this. He commented that with <br />the closing of "the little mountain," property values are catching up to the market. <br /> <br />Motion by Commissioner Holland and seconded by Commissioner Deemer that based upon <br />discussion there is no need for an architectural review ordinance at this time. <br /> <br />Planning Commission/October 4, 1994 <br /> Page 9 of 10 <br /> <br /> <br />
