These members are Ken
Wagner, Carolyn Nelson, Allen Stafki, and Mary Ullen. He suggested reviewing the re-
appointment of the members now to allow for advertising, should the current members choose not
to be re-appointed to the Commission. The new terms of these members will be two years, as
directed by City Code, therefore, the terms would expire on January 31, 1997. If the Commission
decides to re-appoint a current member, that member should abstain from voting on the motion.
An EDC Commission member may ask not to be re-appointed if they so chose. At that point, a
vacancy would be declared and City Staff would advertise the opening to find a new Commission
member.

Motion by Commissioner Kent and seconded by Commissioner McGhee to recommend that the
City Council re-appoint Ken Wagner to the Economic Development Commission to a term set to
expire January 31, 1997.

Motion carded. Voting Yes: Commissioners Kent, Nelson, Stafki, Marquart and McGhee.
Voting No: None. Abstain: Chairperson Wagner. Absent: Commissioner Ullen.

Motion by Commissioner Stafld and seconded by Commissioner Kent to recommend that the City
Council re-appoint Carolyn Nelson to the Economic Development Commission to a term set to
expire January 31, 1997.

Motion carded.
