Jankowski reported there was a mixture of pavement conditions. Alternatives were
discussed and' the group requested delaying the project until 1995. He felt that the street
would not deteriorate so rapidly in one year that it would be critical to the street. He
recommended removing this project from the 1994 program and putting it on for 1995.
This would allow the residents a chance to budget for the improvement. He also
recommended that the delay should not affect the City's 50 percent funding under the 1995
program.

Mayor Oilbertson closed the regular portion of the City Council meeting at 7:20 p.m. in
order to conduct the public hearing.

Public Hearin~

Mayor Gilbertson called the public hearing to order at 7:20 p.m.

Citizen Input

Terrence Mox, 16530 Yolite Street N.W., Ramsey, thanked Mr. Jankowski, Mayor
Gilbertson and Councilmember Zimmerman for meeting with the neighbors. She inquired why she is
being assessed for two properties.

Councilmember Zirmnerman inquired if the second lot is buildable to which Mr. Jankowski
replied that any vacant lot of record is considered buildable and gets an equal assessment.

Councilmember Peterson stated that if Ms. Goepfert combined the two lots, she would be
assessed for one.

Adjournment

Motion by Councilmember Zimmerman and seconded by Councilmember Beyer to close
the public hearing.

Voting Yes: Mayor Gilbertson, Councilmembers Zimmerman, Beyer, Hardin and
Peterson.
