City Administrator Schroeder stated that a resolution is being presented to Council to <br />request approval of this metes and bounds subdivision. This would facilitate the <br />acquisition of the parcel for AEC. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Peterson and seconded by Councilmember Beyer to add the <br />resolution on to the Consent Agenda. <br /> <br />Motion carded. Voting Yes: Mayor Gilbertson, Councilmembers Peterson, Beyer, Hardin <br />and Zimmerman. Voting No: None. <br /> <br />Mr. Larry Peterson stated that there is also a two-foot strip of land that was deeded to the <br />City that is described in the legal description for the parcel being purchased by AEC. He <br />stated that City Staff does not know the reason why this strip of land was conveyed to the <br />City. He asked that an amenable solution be worked out between the City and AEC. <br /> <br />Mr. Schroeder stated that a letter has been sent to AEC granting them permission to cross <br />that piece of property whenever they have to. <br /> <br />City Attorney Goodrich stated that an ordinance could be drafted deeding that piece of <br />property over to Anoka Electric. <br /> <br />Consensus of the Council was to direct such ordinance be drafted and to place it on a <br />subsequent Council agenda for introduction and adoption. <br /> <br />APPROVE AGENDA <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Peterson and seconded by Councilmember Hardin to approve <br />the agenda as presented. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Gilbertson, Councilmembers Peterson, Hardin, Beyer <br />and Zimmerman.
