Motion by Councilmember Peterson and seconded by Councilmember Beyer to table this <br />issue until the next Council meeting at which time Staff will present a draft policy <br />regarding concessions in the park. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Gilbertson, Councilmembers Peterson, Beyer, <br />Hardin and Zimmerman. Voting No: None. <br /> <br />Case ~2: Approve Lawful Gambling Premises Permit for Ramsey Lions <br /> Club at M & L Liquors <br /> <br />Finance Officer Hart stated that the Ramsey Lions Club have requested a lawful gambling <br />premise permit for M & L Liquors at 5900 - 167th Avenue N.W. in Ramsey. The <br />application specifies raffles, paddlewheels, pull-tabs and tip-boards. She added that this <br />would bring their total gambling sites to four. She reminded Council that the amendment to <br />City Code, effective July 1, 1994, will allow for unlimited sites within the City; therefore, <br />if this request is approved, the operation will not become effective until July 1. Ms. Hart <br />informed Council that the Lions Club is currently in compliance with all requirements in <br />conjunction with lawful gambling operations in the City. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Hardin and seconded by Councilmember Zimmerman to adopt <br />Resolution ~94-06-124 approving the Ramsey Lions Club application for premise permit <br />for lawful gambling at M & L Liquors. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Gilbertson, Councilmembers Hardin, Zimmerman, <br />Beyer and Peterson. Voting No: None. <br /> <br />Case #3: Application for On-Sale Sunday Sales Intoxicating Liquor <br /> License by Successful Concept Development, Inc. (SCD, <br /> INC.) <br /> <br />Mayor Gilbertson turned the meeting over to Councilmember Peterson. <br /> <br />City Administrator Schroeder stated that this case should actually be on the June 28, 1994 <br />Council agenda, and all that Council is requested to do at this time is to schedule a public <br />hearing for the request for On-sale Sunday Sales Intoxicating Liquor License by Successful <br />Concept Development, Inc. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Hardin and seconded by Councilmember Beyer to schedule a <br />public hearing for Tuesday, June 28, 1994, to hear comment on the request by Successful <br />Concept Development, Inc. (SCD, Inc.) for an On-sale Sunday Sales Intoxicating Liquor <br />License. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Councilmembers Hardin, Beyer, Peterson and Zimmerman. <br />Voting No: None. Abstain: Mayor Gilbertson. <br /> <br />Case #4: Approval of Liquor and Beer Licenses Off-Sale Intoxicating <br /> Liquor and Off-Sale Non-Intoxicating <br /> <br />Mayor Gilbertson also abstained fi'om presiding over this portion of the meeting. <br /> <br />City Administrator Schroeder informed Council that applications for renewal of the <br />following licenses have been received and processed: <br /> <br />City Council/June 14, 1994 <br /> Page 5 of 13 <br /> <br /> <br />
