COUNCIL BUSINESS City Administrator Schroeder stated that at the June 14, 1994 City Council meting, Council scheduled the case to consider the extension of 153/155 to be on the July 26, 1994 Council agenda. He reported that a letter had been sent out to the affected and/or interested parties; however, the date of the meeting was not clear on the letter. He stated another letter reminding the residents of this upcoming subject for discussion would be sent out. NEW BUSINESS Case #1: Presentation of the Management Report on the 1993 Financial Audit by Ken Malloy, Partner with the Firm of Malloy, Karnowski, Radosevich and Company, P.A. Mr. Ken Malloy, Malloy, Karnowski, Radosevich and Company, P.A., reported that the City's Management Report received a clean audit opinion. He commented that there is improved reporting and that the report was complete and there were no problems with the audit. Mr. Malloy stated that not all city audits are problem free. Councilmember Hardin commented that it was a very good report and commended the Finance Department and Administrative Services on a "job well done". Case #2: Presentation by Anoka County Sheriff Kenneth Wilkinson Anoka County Sheriff Kenneth Wilkinson updated Council and the public on the services provided by the Anoka County Sheriff's Department and presented some of the crime statistics in the City of Ramsey as well as in Anoka County. He commended the Ramsey Police Department on the job they are doing and expressed the hope that the two departments would continue to work so well together. CHy Council/July 12, 1994 Page 5 of 9
