Motion by Councilmember Hardin and seconded by Mayor Gilbertson to adopt Resolution <br />#94-09-213 awarding engineering design and associated services for extension of sewer <br />and water utilities to Anoka Electric Cooperative Development Site to Hakanson Anderson <br />Associates, Inc. in accordance with their proposal, plus the addition of language that <br />provides protection to overages in the technical services. This is contingent upon the <br />development agreement with Anoka Electric Cooperative being executed. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Gilbertson, Councilmembers Hardin, Peterson and <br />Zimmerman. Voting No: Councilmember Beyer. <br /> <br />Case #6: <br /> <br />Adopt Ordinance Authorizing Vacation of Street Right-of-Way <br />in the City of Ramsey - and Adopt Ordinance Selling Certain <br />Public Land in the City of Ramsey <br /> <br />City Administrator Schroeder stated that the City approved the proposed site improvements <br />to the Anoka-Ramsey Sports facility. As a part of this expansion, the current alignment of <br />Feldspar Street N.W. between Riverdale Drive N.W. and U.S. Highway #10 N.W. will <br />be vacated and reconstructed. The City also proposed to sell Outlot C of Rivenwick <br />Addition to Anoka-Ramsey Sports for combination with Lot 1, Block 1, Riverside West <br />Addition for the building expansion. The proceeds from the sale of this lot go toward the <br />improvements of Feldspar Street N.W. Mr. Schroeder stated that City Council conducted a <br />public hearing on September 12, 1994, and hearing no opposition to the vacation and sale, <br />they introduced the ordinance relating to the vacation and the sale. He stated that such <br />ordinances are presented this evening for formal adoption. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Zimmerman and seconded by Mayor Gilbertson to adopt <br />Ordinance #94-10 authorizing vacation of street right-of-way in the City of Ramsey. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Gilbertson, Councilmembers Zimmerman, Beyer, <br />Hardin and Peterson. Voting No: None. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Zimmerman and seconded by Mayor Gilbertson to adopt <br />Ordinance #94-11 selling certain public land in the City of Ramsey. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting No: None. <br /> <br />Case <br /> <br />Adopt Ordinance to Authorize Sale of Lot 1, Block 1, Gateway <br />North Industrial Park Plat 4 <br /> <br />City Administrator Schroeder stated that at the September 12, 1994 meeting, Council <br />introduced the proposed ordinance authorizing the sale of Lot 1, Block 1, Gateway North <br />Industrial Park, Plat 4. This ordinance is now being presented for formal adoption. Mr. <br />Schroeder added that it is proposed that this property be sold to Detail Tool and <br />Engineering, Inc. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Peterson and seconded by Mayor Gilbertson to adopt Ordinance <br />4494-12 selling certain public land in the City of Ramsey. <br /> <br />Motion carried.
