Motion by Councilmember Peterson and seconded by Councilmember Zimmerman to add <br />#12 to the permit to read as follows: Subject to the right of the City to direct use of steel or <br />wood poles adjacent to the Burlington Northern Railroad, which direction the City shall <br />give no later than December 15, 1994. <br /> <br />Motion cai'fled. Voting Yes: Mayor Gilbertson, Councilmembers Peterson, Zimmerrnan <br />and Hardin. Voting No: None. Absent: Councilmember Beyer. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Hardin and seconded by Mayor Gilbertson to adopt Resolution <br />~94-11-250 adopting Findings of Fact ~0370, as amended, relating to a request from City <br />of Anoka Electric Utility to install and operate electric transmission lines within the City of <br />Ramsey. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Gilbertson, Councilmembers Hardin, Peterson and <br />Zimmerman. Voting No: None. Absent: CouncilmemberBeyer. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Peterson and seconded by Mayor Gilbertson to adopt <br />Resolution #94-11-251 approving the issuance of a utility permit, as amended, for the <br />installation and operation of transmission lines based on findings of fact g0370, as <br />mended, and declaring terms of same. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Gilbertson, Councilmembers Peterson, Hardin and <br />Zimmerman. Voting No: None. Absent: CouncilmemberBeyer. <br /> <br />Mr. Schroeder stated he would arrange a time to view wooden and metal poles. <br /> <br />Case 02: Application for Used Motor Vehicle Sales License; Case of <br /> Robert Wojcik <br /> <br />Police Chief Auspos stated that Robert Wojcik, dba Ramsey Auto Sales, has applied for a <br />motor vehicle sales license. His application was tabled in September and Staff was directed <br />to review his site for City Code compliance. Chief Auspos reported there have been some <br />changes. Mr. Wojcik has stated he will provide for parking space and keep the junk <br />vehicles off the site. The person responsible for "jumping" car rifles is no longer employed <br />by Mr. Wojcik. <br /> <br />Zoning Administrator Frolik stated there was a previous application to expand the lot. The <br />application was approved; however, it is void now due to lack of action. Mr. Wojcik still <br />has an outstanding balance of $126.11 on his escrow account. She added that Mr. Wojcik <br />has a State license that is temporary until he meets City Code. Mr. Wojeik's yearly license <br />fee has been paid. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Peterson and seconded by Couneilmember Zimmerman to <br />approve Mr. Robert Wojcik's application (Ramsey Auto Sales) for a motor vehicle sales <br />license, upon full payment of the outstanding escrow balance. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Gilbertson, Councilmembers Peterson, Zimmerman <br />and Hardin. Voting No: None. Absent: CouncilmemberBeyer. <br /> <br />Case #3: Update on Construction of City Wide Garage Door Company <br /> <br />City Administrator Schroeder stated that Staff has been working with City Wide Garage <br />Door Company on reconstruction of their facility and were hoping there would be <br /> <br />City Council/November 7, 1994 <br /> Page 6 of 13 <br /> <br /> <br />
