Voting Yes: Chairperson Bawden, Commissioners Deemer, Hendriksen, <br />Holland, LaDue, Terry and Thomd. Voting No: None. Absent: None. <br /> <br />Case #5: i Request for a Conditional Use Permit Amendment; case of Danny's <br /> !Aluminum Processing, Inc. <br /> <br />Zoning Administrator Frolik stated that in 1992 Danny's Aluminum Processing, Inc. applied for an <br />amendment to their conditional use permit (CUP) to allow for dismantling engines and <br />transmissions on site. City Council denied this request and directed Ms. Frolik to work with Mr. <br />Karst to get ,him into compliance with his CUP. Ms. Frolik reported back to City Council in <br />January 1993[that he is in compliance and Council has directed her to proceed with his request for <br />an amendment. <br /> <br />Commissionei' Holland inquired whether he was in compliance with his CUP at present. <br /> <br />Ms. Frolik sta~ ed she drove by on February 12, 1993 and it appeared he was in compliance. <br /> <br />Dan Karst, representing Danny's Aluminum Processing, Inc., responded to a letter from Jerry L. <br />Martin of Ah-Bo-Company, received at the public hearing on this matter. <br /> <br />Commission~ Holland asked the applicant if he is in compliance with his CUP at the present time. <br />Mr. Karst replied yes. <br /> <br />Discussion ensued regarding buses and semi-trailers stored on Lots 2 and 3. <br /> <br />Mr. Karst stated he only wants gl0 of his CUP amended to allow disassembly of engines and <br />transmissions. I He stated the City granted the same to his competitor. <br /> <br />The Planning ~and Zoning Commission reviewed the proposed Findings of Fact. <br /> <br />The consensua of the Planning and Zoning Commission was that Findings gl through g25 would <br />remain as pre~nted. <br /> <br />Motion,)y Commissioner LaDue and seconded by Commissioner Holland to amend Finding g26 <br />to read That the proposed use will not substantially adversely impair the use, enjoyment..." <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Chairperson Bawden, Commissioners LaDue, Holland, Terry and <br />Thorud. Vofirig No: Commissioners Deemer and Hendriksen.
