' <br /> <br />Motion carrie/gI. Voting Yes: Chairperson Bawden, Commissioners Deemer, Holland and Thorud. <br />Voting No: None. Absent: Commissioners Hendriksen, LaDue and Terry. <br /> <br />Motion by ~sioner Thomd and seconded by Commissioner Deemer to recommend that City <br />Council adol~ the findings of fact, as amended, relating to Champlin Towing's request for a <br />conditional u~ permit to establish a towing service and auto repair facility in the Industrial District. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Chairperson Bawden, Commissioners Thorud, Deemer and Holland. <br />Voting No: None. Absent: Commissioners Hendriksen, LaDue and Terry. <br /> <br />The Commission proceeded to review the terms of the conditional use permit. <br /> <br />Consensus off, he Commission was to amend Term #2 to read: "That a perimeter of the impound <br />lot shall be fe~nced and wherever chain link fence is used ..... except that the east fence line of <br />the impound 10t shall consist of a six (6) foot high wood privacy fence..." <br /> <br />Motion by rCO!nmi'ssioner Deemer and seconded by Commissioner Thorud to recommend that City <br />Council approye the request for a conditional use permit, as amended, to establish a towing service <br />and auto repa[t~ facility in the Industrial District. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Chairperson Bawden, Commissioners Deemer, Thorud and Holland. <br />Voting No: l~one, Absent: Commissioners Hendriksen, LaDue and Terry. <br /> <br />Case 07: Consider Ordinance to Reduce Arterial Thoroughfare Setbacks <br /> <br />Zoning Admi~istrator Frolik stated this case was advertised as a public hearing. <br />Chairperson Bawden adjourned the regular Planning and Zoning Commission meeting at 10:54 <br />p.m. in order t~ conduct the following public hearing. <br /> <br />Chairperson l~a~ wden called the regular Planning and Zoning Commission meeting back to order at <br />10:54 p.m. <br /> <br />Chairperson Bawden inquired if this case could be tabled for the next meeting. <br /> <br />Zoning Admiriistrator Frolik agreed that it should be tabled and added that there would be a whole <br />new case becafise of an Anoka County draft policy just received by Staff. <br /> <br />Motion by CoBanissioner Holland and seconded by Commissioner Deemer to table the case to <br />consider ordinance to reduce arterial thoroughfare setbacks to the November meeting. <br /> <br />Motion carded. Voting Yes: Chairperson Bawden, Commissioners Holland, Deemer and Thorud. <br />Voting No: Ni~ne.
